Then and Now

For those like me who were born in the 1960's, just imagine if all we had to do was look something up on the internet...a book to read, information for a term paper, music we wanted to listen to or a movie to watch whenever. On the other hand, we had to go to the library to get our books and information, we had to save up money to buy the record or cassette tape we wanted and if we missed the Wizard of Oz when it came on tv, well we had to wait another year. I am sure there are drawbacks as well, but I am glad for the childhood I had and that I spent it with actual people not devices. Life was simpler and it took more time to do things, but we were better off because of it.
